Palm Springs – The ideal winter home for Canadian snowbirds!

Palm Springs is a small city in the Coachella Valley, 100 miles east of Los Angeles with an ideal dry, mild climate in the winter.

It is surrounded by dramatic scenery and mountain ranges providing excellent hiking, and has been a long standing favourite winter destination among Canadian snowbirds

Palm Springs boasts over 120 golf courses attracting golfers from far and wide. The area is also great for keeping active with tennis, hiking and biking.

The architecture in the downtown area is wonderfully Art Deco and there are many galleries, boutiques, restaurants and bars.

The area is also known for its active LGBTQ community and there are LGBTQ festivals and events held each year.

Palm Springs also has its own airport with connections from all over the U.S. and direct flights from Western Canada.

As far as accommodations go, many Canadian snowbirds own homes in the area, but there are also plenty of rental options available, including condos, homes, villas and apartments.
