From: Pillway & Snowbird Advisor*

Pillway

Snowbird Advisor

Canada's digital pharmacy for snowbirds, boomers and seniors

Available to residents of Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia only.

IMPORTANT UPDATE:

Due to the implementation of U.S. tariffs, Pillway is no longer able to ship prescription medications to the United States

Ontario residents can still obtain an increased supply of prescription medication for up to 200 days prior to leaving for extended travel1

1 Travel Supply Eligibility for ODB Patients Ontario Drug Benefit (ODB) recipients may be eligible for an extended travel supply of medication when leaving the province. Eligibility is determined based on the current quantity of medication on hand:

Patients with fewer than 30 days of supply may receive up to 200 additional days. Patients with 30 days or more of supply may receive a maximum of 100 additional days.

To obtain a travel supply, patients must provide their pharmacist with one of the following:

  • A self-written letter confirming travel outside Ontario for more than 100 consecutive days,

    or
  • A copy of a travel insurance policy indicating travel outside Ontario for a duration between 100 and 200 days.

2 Virtual doctor appointments are covered by provincial health plans in Alberta and British Columbia. You must be covered by one of these provinces' health plans to be eligible for free virtual doctor appointments. As of December 1, 2022, changes to Ontario's provincial health plan have limited coverage for virtual doctor appointments, which means this service may not be available to Ontario residents.
